During a weekend of big-time visits and the first week of spring practices, Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian received a huge commitment from Nicolas Robertson, a four-star interior offensive lineman from the class of 2026.
Robertson, from Spring, TX, committed to the Texas Longhorns over other in-state programs the Texas A&M Aggies and Houston Cougars.
In his announcement, Robertson said, "All glory to God time to get to work! Hook’Em.” When he made the decision, Robertson was in Austin visiting the Horns, alongside fellow four-star recruits Boobie Feaster, Mark Bowman, and more.

Robertson is already 6-foot-3 and 335 pounds, making him the size of a collegiate lineman, a lot of whom have found a lot of success at Texas, like Alfred Collins and T'Vondre Sweat.
The young interior offensive lineman has an official visit scheduled with the Horns over the summer on June 20. He has 20 offers from Division I programs, including the Alabama Crimson Tide, Penn State Nittany Lions, and USC Trojans.
"Robertson brings a rare combination of size, power, and athleticism to the trenches. Even though he projects as a guard at the next level, he can be seen on film playing left tackle—a testament to his athletic ability," said On3 recruiting expert Charlie Williams. "He’s capable of sealing the edge in the run game, protecting the quarterback’s blind side, and leading up the field on screen passes with impressive quickness for his size."
According to On3, Robertson is the No. 50 athlete out of Texas and the No. 29 IOL in the class of 2026, alongside being the No. 347 athlete in the entire class. Currently, Sarkisian and the Longhorns have the No. 10 recruiting class for the year.
