The Georgia Bulldogs recently announced that starting defensive tackle Jordan Hall will miss the rest of the season due to a knee injury that he suffered against the Florida Gators last weekend.
Hall has been a dominant force up front for Georgia, taking a huge leap from the 2024 season to 2025. His presence against the run will be missed against Texas next week, as the Longhorns have been able to find success on the ground as of late due to the improved play by the offensive line. Moving Cole Hutson to left guard and keeping Connor Robertson at center made a huge difference against Vanderbilt in week 10.

Tre Wisner, CJ Baxter, and Christian Clark could have an easier time in week 12 against the Bulldogs' interior, but make no mistake, Georgia's defense is still one of the best out there so it's possible that this might not even be a "huge" deal for that defensive line.
Nevertheless, it's still one of the Bulldogs' top defenders down heading into an incredibly important week 12 matchup for Steve Sarkisian and the Longhorns. Texas' playoff hopes could hinge on their performance in this matchup.
