Texas basketball (15-10, 4-8 SEC) is riding a three-game losing streak entering a critical SEC matchup at the Moody Center on Saturday night against the No. 15 Kentucky Wildcats (17-7, 6-5 SEC).

Rodney Terry and the Longhorns started out SEC play back in early-to-mid January on a three-game losing streak, including a 20-point loss to the No. 13 Texas A&M Aggies before rattling off three wins in four games in conference play.

Since the Longhorns have its second three-game losing streak in SEC play, Texas needs to respond to salvage its NCAA Tournament hopes down the stretch. Texas was blasted in its last game, falling short of the No. 2 Alabama Crimson Tide at the Moody Center on Tuesday night by a 23-point margin (103-80 loss).

Here's a look at the TV/streaming information, game time, betting odds, and game prediction for Texas vs. No. 15 Kentucky at the Moody Center in Austin, TX, on Feb. 15.

Texas vs. Kentucky prediction

Texas continues to deal with a handful of injury issues going into the program's first-ever SEC matchup against Kentucky on Saturday night. Junior guard Chendall Weaver has missed the past couple of months of SEC play for the Longhorns due to a lower-body injury.

The Longhorns also suffered an injury to senior forward Arthur Kaluma, who had a lower-body injury after 11 minutes played against Alabama a few days ago.

Sophomore forward Devon Pryor missed the game against Alabama due to a leg injury.

The status of Kaluma and Pryor remains uncertain roughly 24 hours before tip-off against the Wildcats this weekend.

Kentucky boasts one of the top offenses in the SEC, scoring 86.3 points per game this season (and ranking second in conference play in offensive scoring). The Wildcats are shooting the lights out from beyond the arc in SEC play, with five players in the core part of the rotation shooting at least 35 percent from deep in conference play.

The Wildcats are shooting 42.1 percent from deep as a team in SEC play (leads the conference).

After Texas allowed over 100 points against an Alabama team that shot 62 percent from the field and over 50 percent from beyond the arc this past Tuesday night, the Longhorns need to find answers on the defensive end.

Final score prediction: Kentucky-86, Texas-75
