Watson has been excellent for the Longhorns this season as a rotational and situational player for Pete Kwiatkowski. His size and movement skills along the interior have allowed him to line up in different spots along the defensive line to try and create personnel mismatches.
Unfortunately, it appears as though he's dealing with a minor injury and has been labeled as "questionable" all week long for week 8.
Based on the little amount of publicity that he's getting right now and the simple fact that he's been consistently labeled as limited or questionable this week with seemingly no improvement, it's looking like he's set to miss the matchup against Kentucky tonight.
Stroh, Filsaime added to OUT for No. 21 Texas' game at Kentucky.

We'll make sure to keep an eye out for any last-minute updates on Watson, but if he does end up missing the game, that'll make six total players projected to be OUT for the battle in Lexington. Seven if C.J. Baxter also sits this one out again due to his hamstring rehab.
Other Longhorns that have officially been ruled out for week 8 as of right now:
- LB Jonathan Cunningham
- S Xavier Filsaime
- C Cole Hutson
- OG Connor Stroh
- WR Aaron Butler
