Taaffe suffered an injury to his hand a few weeks ago, eventually undergoing a minor surgery on his thumb. Luckily, due to Texas' bye week, he was only forced to miss two games.
It officially looks like Michael Taaffe, as well as Jelani McDonald and Ryan Wingo will be available for tonight's heavyweight bout against Georgia.

Week 12 also marks the first time in 2025 that the Longhorns don't have anyone listed on the injury report.
With both of the team's starting safeties back in the fold for DC Pete Kwiatkowski, Texas undoubtedly has a better chance of being able to limit the Bulldogs' pass-catchers, especially Zachariah Branch. Taaffe's playmaking ability and field awareness were missed against Mississippi State and Vanderbilt, as the passing defense struggled in a few crucial situations.
The Longhorns will undoubtedly have their hands full tonight with Branch, Dillon Bell, London Humphreys, Oscar Delp, and Lawson Luckie.
