In a double-overtime thriller, the Texas Longhorns defeated the Texas A&M Aggies in the second round of the SEC Men's Basketball Tournament. Now, the Horns face a familiar foe in the Tennessee Volunteers, led by former Texas head coach Rick Barnes.

Last season, the Longhorns' postseason run was ended by the Vols in the NCAA Tournament, and now, Texas faces Tennessee in the quarterfinal round of the conference tournament.

Texas and Tennessee played each other just once in the regular season, when the Volunteers were the No. 1 team in the country, and the Vols walked away with a minimal four-point victory over the Horns.
