Ndamukong Suh should remember his record vs. Texas before trying to rag on Colt McCoy

I will say one nice thing, and one nice thing only, about former Nebraska Cornhuskers defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh. There, now I'm nauseous, but at least you can't say that I'm out of touch.

Recently, Suh released a video ranking which quarterbacks were his favorite targets throughout his college and NFL careers. None other than beloved Texas Longhorns quarterback Colt McCoy rang in at No. 5, with the other four QBs hailing from Suh's time in the NFL.

"No. 5... Colt McCoy, my ultimate ragdoll, Big 12 Championship," Suh said.

But wait a minute... Texas won the only Big 12 Championship Suh ever played in... and the Horns were the team that went on to play in the National Championship that year... not the Huskers.

In fact, now that I think about it, McCoy and the Longhorns went 3-0 against Nebraska during Suh's collegiate career.

Sure, Texas won the three meetings over the stretch by just six total points, but they won. That's the ultimate goal every time a team takes the field. Nebraska lost... on all three occasions!

Driving the point home even further, Suh failed to ever lay a hand on McCoy until that Big 12 Championship game in 2009, going sackless in Texas and Nebraska's regular-season meetings in both 2006 and 2007.

Texas head coach Mack Brown knew how to beat the Cornhuskers, even with a perennial defensive tackle on the opposing defensive line like Suh.

Ndamukong Suh vs. the Texas Longhorns

Yes, Suh put on a show in the Big 12 Championship, but he still walked off the field with a loss to his name while McCoy and the Longhorns marched onto the BCS National Championship game.

• 2006: Texas wins 22-20, Suh earns 1 total tackle (1 solo), 0 sacks
• 2007: Texas wins 28-25, Suh earns 1 assisted tackle, 0 sacks
• 2009 (Big 12 Championship): Texas wins 13-12, Suh earns 5 total tackles (4 solo), 5 sacks

Not to mention the fact that once Suh became a starter at Nebraska, the Cornhuskers only went 31-18 overall. The Horns during that same stretch? Oh, McCoy and Brown led Texas to a 45-8 overall record, including the 2009 Big 12 Championship win and the loss to Alabama in the National Championship.

Yes, Suh was a great defensive tackle in college and went on to an impressive career in the NFL, but for him to grasp at the straw of Colt McCoy being his favorite "ragdoll" is outrageous. He had one (and I mean 1) good game against McCoy and Texas, and it still wasn't enough to push his team to victory.

Texas owned Nebraska in the early 2000s, and the Horns would very likely own the Huskers to this day if they were still in the same conference.

Suh was good back in the day, but the Longhorns were great, and no matter how many sacks he had throughout his entire career, he still went 0-3 against Texas.
