The No.17-ranked Texas Longhorns head back home to DKR-Memorial Stadium on Saturday to take on the Arkansas Razorbacks in a crucial conference matchup.
Arch Manning and Steve Sarkisian both need to be at the top of their games in order to redeem themselves after a fairly bad offensive performance in week 12. Not only that, but Arkansas' offense has the ability to put up 30+ points on any team in America right now. Despite Texas' defense still playing at an incredibly high level, the Longhorns will need to put up points to edge out the Razorbacks this weekend.
Texas vs. Arkansas final odds
According to Fanduel.com, the current spread heading into the game is Texas -8.5. Similar to how the lines have been moving for the Longhorns over the past two weeks, it's been extremely fluid since the beginning of the week.
Total points: O/U 58.5
Texas vs. Arkansas final prediction
The Longhorns should win this one by 10+, but they can't sleep on the Razorbacks. Arkansas QB Taylen Green is one of the most dangerous, dual-threat quarterbacks in the SEC, and possibly the nation. His ability to beat teams with both his arm and legs makes him extremely dangerous for any defense.
As mentioned above, Texas' defense is still excellent, but they've definitely shown signs of wear lately. If they don't play disciplined, sound football - especially without Anthony Hill Jr. today - things could get really ugly.
As long as Arch Manning plays well and the offense is able to consistently score points, they should be able to get the much-needed "W" in week 13.
Final score prediction: Texas 35, Arkansas 24
