10 biggest NFL draft busts in Texas football history

There have been 46 Texas Longhorns taken in the first round of the NFL draft, with more to come, but these are the 10 players who were the most disappointing in the league.

It wasn’t entirely the fault of Tubbs that he was a bust, but he certainly didn’t deliver a return on the first-round investment for the Seahawks. He only played three injury-plagued years, including the 2005 Super Bowl run when he totaled 5.5 sacks on the season. 

In 2006, Tubbs played just five games before a knee injury required surgery. He spent the 2007 season on injured reserve and never returned to football. The Seahawks released Tubbs after a failed physical in 2008.
