Dia Bell, QB (Texas commit)

Texas's quarterback commitment in the 2026 class, Fort Lauderdale (FL) American Heritage five-star Dia Bell, is off to a tremendous start to his junior season in high school. Bell is energizing the Longhorns' 2026 class with his play on the field early this season at American Heritage, and also with his efforts to help Texas on the recruiting trail for the next couple of cycles.

After the win over Michigan on Saturday, Bell said that it was "great to see the Longhorns to send a message to college football" with this huge road triumph in Ann Arbor. He also stated that Texas "really dominated both sides of the ball" and that UT "is where it's at".

Caleb Bell, DL (Arkansas commit)

It wasn't just highly rated Texas commitments in the 2025 and 2026 recruiting classes that reacted to the Longhorns' big win over Michigan this weekend at the Big House. One of Texas's top out-of-state flip targets at defensive line in the 2025 class this fall, three-star Arkansas Razorbacks commit Caleb Bell, was also impressed by the Longhorns' efforts on the field this weekend.

He said after the win that "it was cool to see Texas win such a big game" on the road against Michigan.

Texas and Bell have been in consistent communication since the Longhorns offered him last month. He's expected to visit Texas this fall for a gameday at DKR at some point in late September or October.

Javian Osborne, RB

One of the most important Texas targets on the recruiting trail in the 2026 class who visited the Big House for the Longhorns-Michigan game this weekend was the top-rated running back recruit in the nation for that cycle in the On3 Industry Ranking.

Elite Forney (TX) high-four-star running back Javian Osborne made his first gameday visit to the Big House this fall for the Texas-Michigan game on Sep. 7. Osborne came away impressed with how Texas's offense looked in the big victory over the Wolverines.

He said that Texas "showed their dominance and had a good offensive game" against Michigan's stout defense. Osborne also commented on how Texas had too much speed at the skill positions on the outside for the Wolverines to contain on defense in this game.
