Keaontay Ingram was set to be the next man up in the Texas running back room. In three seasons for the Horns, Ingram amassed 1,811 rushing yards before transferring to play for the USC Trojans.
With USC, Ingram had 911 yards for 5 touchdowns in 2021 alongside 156 receiving yards.
Juwan Mitchell had 101 total tackles for Texas before leaving the Longhorns for the Volunteers and eventually the Colorado Buffaloes. Mitchell played three seasons of college football following his time with Texas and earned 80 tackles, 3 pass deflections, and 1 interception.
