Most recently, Texas and head coach Steve Sarkisian brought in quite a haul from the transfer portal but did so while losing 24 former Longhorns. Two of the biggest losses for the Horns this offseason have been wideout Isaiah Neyor and cornerback Austin Jordan.

While neither player was going to become the go-to player at their respective positions, they would have been great No. 2s for Texas as the team enters the SEC.

After transferring to the Horns after two years at Wyoming, Neyor had just 1 reception for 14 yards in 2023. Jordan, who played two years with Texas, had 11 total tackles and 1 interception for the Longhorns.
