Texas football has an incredibly important stretch of a couple of weeks coming up on the recruiting trail in the 2025 class in the second half of the month of August. Starting next week, Texas has at least four or five decisions upcoming for key blue-chip targets in the 2025 class.

How many 5-Star commitments can Texas football land in the next two to three weeks for the 2025 cycle?

The big-time scheduled commitments among priority five-star recruits for the Longhorns in the 2025 class starts Aug. 21, with a decision coming from elite Lewisville (TX) offensive tackle Michael Fasusi.

Outside of the four scheduled commitments for key Longhorns' five-star recruits in the 2025 class coming up in the next few weeks to close out August, there are a handful more commitments for Texas that could happen late this summer on the trail.

Wide receiver, offensive line, and defensive back recruiting will all be focal points for the Longhorns on the trail for the 2025 class during the upcoming decisions before these high school recruits begin their senior seasons. Texas could pick up serious momentum on the trail if it does well with the upcoming decisions in the next two or three weeks for the 2025 class.

It is realistic to expect the Longhorns to add at least one or two five-star commitments in the 2025 class at key positions before the season kicks off on Aug. 31 at DKR.

Here are two key recruits with scheduled late-August commitments forecasted to give their pledges to the Longhorns in the 2025 class over the next three weeks.
