Antonio Coleman (Alabama commit)

The other surprise defensive tackle visitor among 2025 recruits for the Texas bash today is Saraland (AL) high-four-star Antonio Coleman. The 6-foot-2 and 285-pound defensive lineman from Alabama is set to make his first visit to Texas for the bash event this week since the Longhorns offered him last summer.

Coleman has had roller coaster ride of a recruitment up to this point. He was originally committed to former Alabama head coach Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide before flipping his commitment to head coach Hugh Freeze and the Auburn Tigers last December.

But Coleman flipped back from Auburn to Alabama in the spring this offseason.

Texas has gotten back involved in this recruitment for Coleman after he only took official visits to Alabama and Auburn this summer. We should know more about where Texas stands in the race to ultimately sign Coleman following the conclusion of his visit to Austin for the bash event late this week.

Coleman is the teammate of 2025 Texas quarterback commit and four-star KJ Lacey at Saraland High School. Having Coleman's teammate in his ear constantly recruiting him to Texas could help the Longhorns in this recruitment late this summer.
