Among the three teams on the outside looking in for the 12-team College Football Playoff predictions entering Week 2 are the Alabama Crimson Tide, Mizzou Tigers, and USC Trojans (in that order from top to bottom).

The biggest risers in this week's College Football Playoff prediction are the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, Georgia Bulldogs, Iowa Hawkeyes, and the Longhorns. Notre Dame is up two spots, as the biggest riser this week, after an impressive double-digit win on the road in College Station in primetime over the No. 20 Texas A&M Aggies in Week 1.

Georgia also looked really powerful and buttoned up on both sides of the ball in a huge 31-point victory on Saturday afternoon over the No. 14 Clemson Tigers in Atlanta. The win over Clemson further cemented Georgia's top spot in the Week 2 ESPN College Football Power Index.

The only team to drop out of this week's predictions for the CFP is the Liberty Flames. After a double-digit victory behind a whopping six rushing touchdowns from star running back Ashton Jeanty, the Boise State Broncos move into the favorite slot for the G5 representation in the Playoff.

Boise State can make a statement when it hits the road to face the No. 3 Oregon Ducks at Autzen Stadium in Eugene in Week 2.

The marquee matchup in Week 2 around the college football landscape is No. 3 Texas against the defending National Champions and No. 10 ranked Michigan Wolverines in Ann Arbor on Sep. 7. Texas is favored by a touchdown as of the most recent Vegas betting odds for that big-time matchup with FOX's Big Noon Kickoff and ESPN College GameDay in Ann Arbor on Saturday.
