Aidan Anding, CB
Decision date: Aug. 24
The last decision of this upcoming weekend to watch for the Longhorns on the trail in the 2025 class is for the underrated three-star Ruston (LA) cornerback Aidan Anding. Don't let the three-star rating for Anding from the major recruiting services fool you; he's an incredibly highly valued prospect by Texas after their evalution in this recruitment back during the spring evaluation period this offseason.
Texas is battling the Arkansas Razorbacks and LSU in the race to land Anding's commitment entering his Saturday afternoon announcement.

It's been hard to get past the LSU noise in this recruitment in the last few weeks. Even with LSU flipping four-star Missouri City (TX) Fort Bend Hightower defensive back Kade Phillips from Texas earlier this week, Anding has still been trending to end up in Baton Rouge with the in-state Tigers.
Arkansas is probably in second place in the race to land Anding's commitment this weekend. The Razorbacks have done a nice job recruiting Anding, and have been involved in this recruitment longer than just about any other P4 school going back at least a year ago.
I think LSU is the pretty heavy favorite to land Anding's commitment, unless something seriously big changes in this recruitment in the next couple of days.
