2. Growth of Quinn Ewers and Arch Manning

I'm sure that the dynamic between Ewers and redshirt freshman Arch Manning in the Texas quarterback room will be a hot topic of discussion at SEC Media Days in Dallas this week.

Sarkisian has this quarterback room in a fantastic place regarding its flat-out talent and ability from the arms in this group, including Ewers, Manning, and true freshman Trey Owens.

We've heard so much about the progress Arch has made with his timing and ability to get the ball out on time, thanks to his greater understanding by spending another full offseason in the program at quarterback. Arch has also made some noise with his tremendous work ethic and results from offseason workouts and the weight room.

Regarding Ewers, questions will be asked of him regarding his potential Heisman hype and campaign as one of the top quarterbacks in the SEC this season. I'm interested to see how Sarkisian and Ewers are both handling the pressure of entering the SEC with expanded 12-team College Football Playoff and SEC title game expectations for the 2024 season.

Something Inside Texas's Eric Nahlin mentioned in his questions piece for Sarkisian and SEC Media Days upcoming this week is also a valid point to address when he's at the podium on July 17. Nahlin brought up the point of the new in-helmet communications feature the NCAA is introducing for games this season to hopefully improve the communication between the coaching staff and the quarterback on the field.
