3 biggest visiting recruits at Texas's event this weekend

Texas football hosting another big recruiting event on the 40 this weekend
Head coach Steve Sarkisian and the Longhorns hosted a few key recruits from the 2025 and 2026 classes during the April 11 spring practice.
Some of the highlighting recruits who were visiting the 40 for practice on Thursday were Santa Ana (CA) Mater Dei high-four-star wide receiver Marcus Harris and Fort Worth (TX) North Crowley four-star linebacker Jonathan Cunningham.
This weekend's visitor list for the Longhorns features a host of rising targets in the 2026 class and a couple of key targets from the 2025 cycle. What we're watching for this weekend is for Sarkisian and staff to continue to build momentum on the recruiting trail in the 2025 class entering summer official visits.
There are also a couple of 2025 and 2026 visitors on offer watch for Texas this weekend.
Here are three of the biggest visiting recruits on campus for Texas's recruiting event amid spring ball on April 13.
Kiotti Armstrong, TE
One of the highest-rated 2025 visiting recruits on campus for the Longhorns this weekend is the highly touted four-star Jasper (TX) tight end Kiotti Armstrong. The big 6-foot-5 and 245-pound blue-chip tight end Armstrong is making his first return visit to Texas since the first big Junior Day of the offseason on Jan. 20.
Inside Texas's Justin Wells reported on April 12 (paid content) that Armstrong is "looking closely" at Texas and the Texas A&M Aggies this spring. Texas's efforts on the recruiting trail with Armstrong are reportedly being helped by current freshman linebacker Tyanthony Smith and four-star 2025 tight end commit Emaree Winston.
Armstrong is set to officially visit Texas in late June. He's also scheduled to officially visit the Auburn Tigers (May 31) and Texas A&M (June 14) in the next couple of months.
