Michael Fasusi, OT

The No. 2 offensive tackle recruit in the nation in the 2025 class in the 247Sports Composite, Lewisville (TX) five-star Michael Fasusi, is one of the prized targets for the Longhorns in this cycle.

Fasusi is that next elite offensive tackle priority for Kyle Flood and the Longhorns on the recruiting trail in the 2025 class. Flood has proven his ability to recruit and develop top offensive tackles that he targets early on the recruiting trail, namely future first-round NFL Draft pick Kelvin Banks Jr.

Oklahoma, Texas, and Texas A&M have been the top contenders in this recruitment among the usual suspects on the trail in and around the state. Mizzou and Georgia have also made things interesting with successful visits in the last few months.

Fasusi has been on campus multiple times at Texas since last summer. And he will be on campus two more times in the next few months, including for an unofficial visit on April 9.

Fasusi's official visit to Texas is scheduled for June 21.

Mike Roach of 247Sports reported on April 1 (paid content) that some sources feel that Texas is "where Fasusi eventually ends up". Fasusi's strong connection with Flood and Sarkisian, along with Texas's elevated success on the field on a national basis in the last year has the Longhorns right there among the top schools in his recruitment this spring.
