Troy Huhn, QB

The Elite Camp will be headlined by two premier blue-chip quarterback prospects who will be in attendance for the Longhorns on June 1. The first of the two top blue-chip quarterback priority recruits who the Longhorns are hosting for the Elite Camp next weekend is San Marcos (CA) Mission Hills four-star Troy Huhn.

There haven't been any signs that counter the idea that either Huhn or fellow 2026 five-star quarterback priority Dia Bell won't be the signal-caller the Longhorns take for this cycle.

Texas has been high on Huhn, and vice versa with Sarkisian and QB coach AJ Milwee, since last offseason. He's taken multiple successful unofficial visits to Texas since last fall. Milwee has also seen him play and practice multiple times since last summer at Mission Hills High School.

The big arm 6-foot-3 and 195-pound pocket passer from California last visited Texas during spring practice on April 6. Huhn really likes the coaching staff, facilities, and his fit in Sarkisian's offense. He's that prototypical pro-style pocket passer with a big frame who can make all the throws with timing and precision.

If Huhn emerges as the superior quarterback from his workout and regarding his potential fit in this offense as part of the 2026 recruiting class, he could be the next to commit to the Longhorns for this cycle in the not-too-distant future.
