Texas hosts quite a few important blue-chip commitments in the 2025 and 2026 recruiting classes for the pool party/BBQ bash on July 25. Among the 2025 visitors who are committed to Texas on campus for the bash this week are Spring (TX) Dekaney four-star tight end Nick Townsend, Saraland (AL) four-star quarterback KJ Lacey, Houston (TX) Alief Hastings four-star edge rusher Smith Orogbo, and potentially Dallas (TX) Skyline four-star linebacker Elijah "Bo" Barnes.

The Longhorns could also potentially get both of its commitments in the 2026 class to campus for the bash this week. Five-star Fort Lauderdale (FL) American Heritage quarterback Dia Bell and four-star Pearland (TX) Shadow Creek wide receiver Chris Stewart are both likely to be on campus for visits for the bash on July 25.

Sarkisian wanted an elite quarterback commitment to build around the class around early for the 2026 class. It's big for Bell to get to connect with so many potential future Texas commitments in the 2025, 2026, and 2027 recruiting classes.

Outside of the skill position commitments from the 2025 and 2026 classes who are visiting Texas this week, we'll also see multiple other blue-chip skill recruits make their way to Austin in a couple of days. Four-star 2026 wide receiver Jordan Clay, elite running back priority Javian Osborne, and four-star wideout Mike Brown are all key skill targets who will be on campus with Bell this week.
