One of the top priorities anywhere in the nation for RB coach Tashard Choice and the Longhorns at running back in the 2026 class is the elite five-star Forney (TX) product Javian Osborne. The No. 1 running back recruit in the nation in the 2026 class in the On3 ranking joined Sellers for a visit to Texas on the morning of March 29 to watch the Longhorns in spring practice.

After practice, Osborne posted a picture of himself on social media along with a couple of Texas coaches, including Choice.

This was Osborne's first return visit to Texas since the first big Junior Day of the offseason on Jan. 20. He's visited Austin many times since last spring, including for the Kansas State game at DKR in early-November last fall.

Texas is currently duking it out with the Alabama Crimson Tide, Oklahoma, Texas A&M, and the USC Trojans, among many others, early in Osborne's recruitment. Oklahoma and Texas are the schools he's visited the most since the start of last offseason.

Texas was among the early Power Five schools to offer Osborne. He's got a great relationship with Choice and many other Texas coaches.

The Longhorns are in a fantastic spot among the top schools early on in the race to land a commitment from Osborne.
