Offensive tackle. Four-star. 467. Brandon Baker. Brandon Baker. Brandon. . . OT. player

This is not to say that the Texas offensive line will be lacking next season, but if freshman Brandon Baker can evolve into a starting offensive tackle for the Horns, it will be beyond beneficial for the O-Line.

Ranked No. 44 nationally and No. 3 at his position, Baker was a huge pickup for Sarkisian while recruiting the incoming class.

At 6-foot-4 and 297 pounds, Baker already has the stature of a collegiate lineman, if not the makings of a lineman in the NFL, and is a sizeable addition to Texas’ offense.

Baker has incredible balance despite his massive frame and has been described as the prototype for offensive tackles.

While Baker doesn’t plow down defensive linemen in front of him, he is a technically sound pass protector and incredibly efficient at run blocking.
