Dakorien Moore

The top priority recruit for Sarkisian and the Longhorns staff in the 2025 class is the elite five-star Duncanville (TX) wide receiver Dakorien Moore. Texas did a great job impressing Moore and his family during his official visit to Austin last weekend. Sarkisian continues to make it crystal clear that Moore is his top priority in the 2025 class this summer.

Texas was already the leader in Moore's recruitment entering his official visit to Austin over the weekend. But a combination of other factors has led to Texas further solidifying its spot as the pacesetter in the race to land a commitment from Moore.

Judging by Moore's reaction to Bell's commitment to Texas on social media yesterday, it surely looks like having another elite arm to throw the ball to him is a big deal for the elite wideout from the DFW Metroplex.

Moore, the No. 1 wide receiver recruit in the nation in the 2025 class in the 247Sports Composite and On3 Industry Ranking, already communicates with Texas freshman quarterback Manning and 2025 four-star commit Lacey. I'm sure that he'll get close with Bell, assuming that he winds up committing to the Longhorns over Oregon and the Ohio State Buckeyes in the next couple of months this summer.
