Five-star San Antonio (TX) Brennan point guard Kingston Flemings has been a top priority for Terry and staff for this backcourt rotation in the 2025 class since last fall. Flemings visited Texas unofficially early last fall for the first time since the Longhorns offered him in May 2023.

He told On3 that he had a good experience at Texas for his unofficial visit last September. Flemings spent time with Texas assistant coach Brandon Chappell and got to meet some of the players and other coaches during his unofficial trip last fall.

Chappell has spearheaded this recruitment for the Longhorns for the No. 2 prospect in Texas in the 2025 class in the 247Sports Composite. He's built a good relationship with Flemings and has maintained consistent communication entering the summer visit season.

Flemings has already taken one official visit to Lubbock to see the Texas Tech Red Raiders, which happened last fall. He reportedly plans to take one or two more official visits before he's ready to make his decision.

The schools that are in line to potentially receive an official visit from Flemings this summer are Texas, Houston, and Louisville.

Getting a starting-caliber point guard who can command the offense and play solid perimeter defense is critical for Terry and staff in this class. Texas hasn't landed a true standout point guard in high school recruiting for the last couple of cycles, instead pulling impact players from the portal to fill that need.
