3 possible transfer destinations for Texas CB Terrance Brooks
USC
Another new Big Ten school that has shown interest in Brooks since he entered the portal a couple of weeks ago is the USC Trojans. USC is working to retool the defensive side of the ball under new defensive coordinator D'Anton Lynn this offseason.
Part of the rebuilding process for USC's defense is repairing the secondary that was one of the worst in the Power Five last season. The Trojans ranked in the bottom half of the Pac-12 last season in passing defense and second from the bottom in team interceptions.
USC has already added two corner transfers from other Power Five schools to try to add quality depth to the secondary.
While most of USC's portal recruiting efforts this spring are to build depth at the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball, the staff is still looking to add quality pieces to the defensive backfield.
Brooks appears to be one of the cornerback targets on USC's radar late this spring, along with the former Notre Dame Fighting Irish safety Micah Bell.
USC is a team that could give Brooks a shot to start right away and compete with a talented group in the Big 10 this upcoming season.
