3-Star Texas football OLB commit visiting Texas A&M
Texas football stocked up early on commitments in the 2025 recruiting class along the defensive front this offseason. Texas holds commitments from three 2025 recruits along the defensive front, all three that pledged since mid-December.
But a couple of the defenders committed to the Longhorns in the 2025 class, including four-star Florida defensive lineman Brandon Brown and three-star Texas outside linebacker Anthony Williams, are still being courted by other schools.

Brown has official visits scheduled to see the Tennessee Volunteers and USC Trojans, along with Texas, during the summer.
Williams has a spring visit scheduled to see Texas's rival on the field and on the recruiting trail. Inside Texas reported on March 4 (paid content) that Williams will visit College Station to see the Texas A&M Aggies on March 30.
The trip to College Station will be Williams's first visit since he committed to the Longhorns on Jan. 1.
The only other visit Williams has taken since he committed to Texas on New Year's Day was for the Longhorns' first big Junior Day of the offseason on Jan. 20.
Williams says he remains firmly committed to Texas
Williams told Inside Texas that, despite taking this unofficial visit to Texas A&M later this month, he is "happy" with his commitment to the Longhorns. While he remains firm on his pledge to UT, Williams is still hearing from other in-state schools on the recruiting trail, such as the TCU Horned Frogs, Baylor Bears, and Texas A&M.
The 6-foot-4 and 185-pound outside backer from Pearland (TX) Shadow Creek High School is actively recruiting some of his teammates to Texas, which is a good sign of how locked in his commitment is with the Longhorns.
Williams is reportedly helping Texas recruit fellow Shadow Creek offers, including four-star cornerback Cobey Sellers and four-star wide receiver Jacorey Watson.
