Arch Manning and Quinn Ewers lead the best QB room in the college football

Another position group that got a lot of praise in the media and from those in and around the program in the first day of practice today was the quarterback room. Second-year quarterback Arch Manning and third-year starter Quinn Ewers picked up right where they left off at the end of spring ball on the first day of fall practice, making on-time throws and showing good chemistry with the skill guys in passing drills.

Quinn continues to look like he's got complete command of the offense. I would say he's never looked so comfortable making the throws he has been and showing great footwork in the pocket than he has since spring ball and on the first day of fall practice today.

Arch was also impressive in practice today. He was getting the ball out at the right time to receivers running routes to multiple levels of the field in one-on-one drills. One of the highlights of the day was a deep ball from Arch where he connected with Bolden on a nice over-the-shoulder throw and catch that beat safety Michael Taaffe down just in front of the goal line.

If the Texas quarterbacks have made one thing clear over the past few months, it's that two (maybe three if Trey Owens continues progressing at a fast rate) are going to be big-time in the NFL in the future. The types of throws Quinn and Arch are making at different distances and from different arm angles is truly awe-inspiring.
