Jermaine Kinsler, DL

The big 6-foot-7 and 270-pound four-star defensive lineman/athlete recruit from Oradell (NJ) Bergen Catholic High School, Jermaine Kinsler, is making his first visit unofficially up to Ann Arbor this weekend to see the Longhorns face Michigan.

Kinsler is making the trip to Ann Arbor this weekend with a few of his teammates from Bergen Catholic High School in New Jersey.

Both Texas and Michigan recently offered Kinsler, the No. 1 recruit from New Jersey in the 2026 class in the 247Sports Composite and On3 Industry Ranking.

Texas jumped in this recruitment with an offer being sent out to Kinsler in early July. A few weeks after the Longhorns offered him on July 6, Kinsler made his first unofficial visit to Texas for the late July pool party/BBQ bash.

Kyle Flood and Pete Kwiatkowski are both involved in this recruitment for Kinsler. Flood has good connections in the Northeast from his time coaching up there with Rutgers and other college and high school programs. He played a big role in helping Texas land former Bergen Catholic blue-chip product along the defensive line, Sydir Mitchell, for the Longhorns a couple of cycles ago.

Kinsler has also been recently offered by other P4 schools like the Washington Huskies, Ole Miss Rebels, USC, Michigan, Ohio State, Oregon Ducks, and Notre Dame.
