The top priority among offensive line recruits for Sarkisian, offensive line coach/offensive coordinator Kyle Flood, and the Longhorns in the 2025 class is the elite five-star Lewisville (TX) offensive tackle Michael Fasusi.

The No. 3 offensive tackle recruit in the nation in the 2025 class in the 247Sports Composite and On3 Industry Ranking began his summer official visits last weekend with a trip to Columbia to see the Mizzou Tigers. Mizzou has always been something of a dark horse in this recruitment since they made a successful push for Fasusi late last fall.

It would be a mistake not to take Mizzou seriously in this recruitment. But it still feels like Fasusi's decision is going to come down to the three big schools in Texas and Oklahoma on the recruiting trail before this fall.

Most of the buzz surrounding this recruitment entering the rest of Fasusi's summer official visits are that Texas and Texas A&M are setting the pace with the Oklahoma Sooners still very much involved here.

Fasusi's four remaining official visits will see him make the trip to College Station for Texas A&M beginning June 6. He has two official visits in the span of five days to see Oklahoma (June 14) and Oregon (June 18) before his last scheduled trip of June to make it to Austin.

He and his family will make the trip to Texas for his Longhorns' official visit on June 21. Texas getting the last official visit here is a big deal. Fasusi is that next elite offensive tackle priority for Flood and the Longhorns on the recruiting trail after Texas signed guys like Kelvin Banks Jr. and Brandon Baker in the previous few cycles.
