Per Rivals' Marshall Levenson, four-star 2026 Missouri City (TX) Fort Bend Marshall safety Isaiah Williams will visit Texas football for the Week 1 matchup at DKR against the Colorado State Rams this afternoon on Aug. 31.

Texas football adds 4-Star S Isaiah Williams to the visitor list for Week 1 vs. Colorado State

Williams was originally set to visit College Station to see the No. 20 Texas A&M Aggies host the No. 7 Notre Dame Fighting Irish at Kyle Field in primetime on Aug. 31. But he reportedly made the last-minute schedule change to make the short trip to Austin instead to see the Longhorns and head coach Steve Sarkisian face the Rams in their regular season opener at home.

Williams has visited Texas multiple times since last offseason. Texas has made Williams' recruitment a major in-state priority for this coaching staff in the 2026 class on the trail, as the Longhorns were one of the first P4 programs to offer the physical defensive back recruit from the Houston area early in the 2023 offseason.

Williams visited Texas unofficially for the Elite Camp back in early June, where he worked out with many other 2026 recruits for the Longhorns during that weekend in Austin.

Back in the spring, Williams included the Longhorns among his top five finalist schools early in his recruitment. He also included the Oklahoma Sooners, Michigan State Spartans, Tennessee Volunteers, and Texas A&M among the five schools that stood out to him early in the 2024 offseason.

Marshall High is becoming a factor of defensive back talent that has drawn the attention of Terry Joseph and Blake Gideon on the Longhorns' defensive coaching staff in the past couple of years.

Texas already has one defensive back from that talented Fort Bend Marshall secondary that is committed to their 2025 class, three-star cornerback Caleb Chester. Williams is one of Texas's next top targets to watch in the secondary from Missouri City, TX, in the class of 2026.
