Offensive line recruiting takes center stage for offensive line coach/offensive coordinator Kyle Flood and the Longhorns during this big mid-June official visit weekend. Flood and the Longhorns host a few key out-of-state offensive line targets in the 2025 class this weekend, as well as a handful from in-state.

Among the out-of-state priority offensive linemen officially visiting Austin this weekend, California three-star interior offensive lineman John Mills and Iowa four-star offensive tackle Nick Brooks are incredibly important for the Longhorns.

Mills and Brooks both have those big frames that Flood loves in the "big human" factory at Texas. Texas would take commitments from both if they wanted into the 2025 class this summer.

But the Longhorns probably have a better shot to land Brooks in the near future than Brooks. Texas still appears to hold the momentum in Mills' recruitment after he's taken a couple of official visits in the last two weekends.

Mills' recruitment is likely to come down to a battle between Texas and the Washington Huskies on the recruiting trail this summer. Horns247 reports that Mills' recruitment is still "Texas's race to lose" heading into his official visit in Austin on June 14.

Since Texas has the final official visit before Mills is expected to announce later this summer, that gives them a pretty big leg up in a critical stretch of the recruiting process for the big 6-foot-6 and 320-pound OL from Northern California.
