Hands down, the top priority official visitor headlining this big weekend on the Forty Acres for the Longhorns is the elite five-star Duncanville (TX) wide receiver Dakorien Moore. The No. 1 wide receiver recruit in the nation and the No. 3 overall prospect in the 247Sports Composite and On3 Industry Ranking is arguably the "must-win" recruitment for Texas in the 2025 class.

Texas has been the trendy pick to land Moore's commitment since he re-opened his recruitment and decommitted from the LSU Tigers last month. Ohio State and the Oregon Ducks are making big pushes to close the gap on Texas's lead with Moore. And Oregon could still be big competition for Texas when he officially visits Eugene next weekend.

But all signs continue to point to Texas being the eventual landing spot for Moore when he's ready to announce. A decision is expected from Moore at some point before the start of his senior season.

Sarkisian, Jackson, and the Longhorns are gunning for a massive wide receiver class for 2025 that could potentially feature multiple five stars. Moore is the headliner of Texas's possible 2025 wide receiver class chocked full of five stars, along with Sachse's Kaliq Lockett and Mandarin's Jaime Ffrench.

Texas will give Moore that priority treatment during his official visit to Austin this weekend. I'd expect his former teammate at Duncanville High School, freshman edge rusher Colin Simmons, to be Moore's host during his official visit.
