Cam Williams allows the fewest sacks of any starting offensive lineman

One of the most positive developments we've seen in preseason camp so far is the performance of junior offensive tackle Cam Williams. As the new projected starter at right tackle this fall, Williams has looked the part in every way of being the next high-level performer and potential all-conference-caliber offensive lineman for Kyle Flood in the trenches in the SEC this year.

In the one game Williams started last season in the Big 12, he proved his proficiency as a blocker in pass pro and his potential as a body mover at the line of scrimmage as a run blocker. He was stellar for Texas in its crucial overtime win over a top-25 Kansas State squad last season in conference play.

The numbers from last year shows the potential Williams brings in pass pro at the right tackle spot.

In roughly 50 pass-blocking snaps for Texas as the backup offensive tackle last season in the Big 12, Williams didn't allow any sacks or quarterback pressures. He was Texas's only offensive linemen on the two-deep last fall to not allow a single QB pressure in Big 12 play (minimum 50 pass-blocking snaps).

I will just say that if there is a world where both Williams and star junior left tackle Kelvin Banks Jr. are both high level NFL Draft picks next year, Ewers is probably going to have a great season through the air with a lot of clean pockets to throw from.
