Michael Terry, ATH

Elite five-star San Antonio (TX) Alamo Heights athlete Michael Terry was one of the top-ranked visitors from the 2025 class on campus for the pool party/BBQ bash yesterday. Terry was one of the early arrivals for the bash event yesterday afternoon, and he stuck around until the evening.

Texas was really committed to showing Terry how much of a priority he is for them in the 2025 class. Horns247 reported on July 26 (paid content) that Terry had nearly an hour long conversation with Sarkisian during his visit to Texas yesterday. That was reportedly the longest personal conversation Sarkisian had with any recruit during the bash event.

Terry was accompanied by Chris Gilbert for much of his visit to Texas. Texas pulled out a lot of the stops for Terry considering that this was a pretty short visit compared to his official trip in early June.

Nick Townsend, TE (Texas commit)

High-four-star Spring (TX) Dekaney tight end Nick Armstrong was one of roughly a half dozen Texas commits who visited unofficially for the pool party/BBQ bash event yesterday. It sounds like Townsend had as good of a time as any of the Texas commits who were on campus for the bash.

He reportedly liked getting to see Texas's practice session on Thursday afternoon, and spent some quality time with the coaching staff. It's noteworthy that this was Armstrong's first visit to Texas since he committed to the Longhorns a couple of weeks ago.

Expect Townsend to make it back to campus multiple times this fall for gameday visits at DKR.
