Texas's top in-state priority at offensive tackle in the 2025 class is the elite Lewisville (TX) five-star Michael Fasusi. The No. 2 offensive tackle recruit in the nation in the 2025 class in the 247Sports Composite is one of the next elite talents that Kyle Flood and the Longhorns have their eye on the recruiting trail.

Flood and the Longhorns have made it clear how much of a priority Fasusi is for them in the 2025 class. Texas coaches, namely Flood, have been in constant communication with Fasusi early this offseason. He told 247Sports that Texas is one of the programs really pushing for him entering spring visit season.

"I think they just do a good job of reassuring me I’m one of the top guys for their program and how much they want me. Texas in general, I love it. I’m down for it."

Fasusi will be in Austin next for an unofficial visit to see Texas during spring practice (specifically on April 6). He also has an official visit scheduled to see Texas from June 21-23.

Texas is one of the schools setting the pace in the race to land a commitment from Fasusi entering spring practice. The Oklahoma Sooners, Mizzou Tigers, and LSU Tigers are also in the mix among the top schools for Fasusi.

Fasusi has official visits scheduled for the summer to see Texas A&M (June 6-8), Oklahoma (June 14-16), and Texas (June 21-23). He also plans to schedule an official visit to see Mizzou this summer.
