Dylan Davis, DB

2026 Lewisville (TX) defensive back Dylan Davis is one of the fast-rising in-state defensive recruits for this cycle who the Longhorns are monitoring entering the fall on the trail. Davis has caught the attention of multiple P4 programs since the spring evaluation period early this offseason with his insane speed and agility at the cornerback position.

At 6-foot and 170-pounds, Davis has an excellent combination of speed, size, and overall athleticism that Texas likes to get at the cornerback position from the recruiting trail.

Davis currently holds one FBS offer from the North Texas Mean Green. He is someone to monitor to be on offer watch for the Longhorns this fall if he continues to see his stock rise on the recruiting trail during his junior season for Lewisville High.

DeCorian Thompson, ATH

Another fast riser to watch in the class of 2026 among the visitor list this weekend for the Texas-Colorado State game is Mount Pleasant (TX) athlete/wide receiver DeCorian "Deuce" Thompson. The speedy and quick athlete from East Texas currently holds FBS offers from the Kansas State Wildcats, UTEP Miners, and North Texas.

Thompson's recruitment really started to gain traction outside of the state of Texas when Kansas State offered him in mid June.
