Texas basketball is among the top schools for one of the top power forward recruits in the nation in the 2025 class entering summer and fall official visits. The elite high-four-star Houston (TX) St. John's power forward Sebastian Williams-Adams had a great experience when he unofficially visited Texas last September.

Elite 4-Star PF Sebastian Williams-Adams eyeing Texas basketball official visit in the coming months

Williams-Adams is one of Texas's top in-state priorities in the 2025 class early this summer. He plans to officially visit Texas this fall, along with the Texas A&M Aggies and Kansas Jayhawks. Williams-Adams told 247Sports that while he doesn't have a set decision timeline at the moment, he does plan to narrow down his options after taking the next round of visits in the next few months.

Texas head coach Rodney Terry has done a nice job making it known that Williams-Adams is a top priority for the Longhorns for this cycle.

"Rodney Terry makes sure that I know that I am wanted there. He has been to the school and I have been to their campus. It is cool how their guys have a bond. It makes me want to go up there again."

Terry and staff are pitching Williams-Adams as a big man they can run the offense through from inside the arc while taking advantage of his athleticism and switchability in different matchups on the defensive end.

"They like to run a lot offense through their four men and say they want to keep developing my skillset."

Williams-Adams likes the free-flowing, up-tempo offensive system and transition Texas runs under Terry. He definitely sees a fit for his skill set at Texas.

Williams-Adams is one of the top 2025 PFs nationally

The 6-foot-7 and 225-pound power forward from the Houston area is one of the most athletic and potent prospects at his position group for the 2025 class. Williams-Adams can score with his back to the basket, drive to the rim, and is working on his shooting ability from mid-range and beyond the arc.

The length, verticality, and strength Williams-Adams brings make him a legitimate post presence defending and on the boards. He also gets out and runs well in transition and can be a lob threat around the basket.
