Per Stephen Leonard of CBS Sports/247Sports, former Texas football and Alabama Crimson Tide wide receiver Agiye Hall "didn't join the UCF program" upon the start of fall camp this week.

Ex-Texas football WR Agiye Hall reportedly hasn't joined UCF

This comes after Hall was originally set to join the UCF Knights program as a walk-on entering the 2024 football season. That original news that Hall was going to join the UCF program as a walk-on came during the spring portal window.

Hall last played for the Longhorns during the 2022 season. He transferred from Alabama to Texas during the 2022 offseason, after spending one year in Tuscaloosa with the Crimson Tide.

Hall's time at Texas was distracted by off-the-field issues that caused him to be suspended multiple times. By the end of the 2022 regular season, Hall was no longer with the Longhorns program.

He caught one pass for seven receiving yards in Texas's Big 12 matchup in Week 4 in 2022 against the Texas Tech Red Raiders. In total, Hall played 17 snaps over four games for head coach Steve Sarkisian and the Longhorns in 2022.

Before transferring to Texas, Hall played the 2021 campaign (his freshman season) with the Crimson Tide, where he caught four passes for 72 receiving yards and no touchdowns. Two of Hall's receptions during his true freshman campaign came for over 50 receiving yards for Alabama in the College Football Playoff against the Georgia Bulldogs.

Texas finished up the 2022 season with a 8-5 (6-3 Big 12) record.

Alabama won the SEC Championship and its College Football Playoff semifinal game over the No. 4 Cincinnati Bearcats during the 2021 season. Georgia defeated Alabama in the 2021-22 College Football Playoff National Championship by a score of 33-18. The Tide finished the 2021 season with a record of 13-2 (7-1 SEC).
