The fifth of six consecutive ranked matchups lies on tap for head coach Rodney Terry and Texas basketball (14-7, 3-5 Big 12) on the road on Feb. 3 against head coach Jamie Dixon and the No. 25 TCU Horned Frogs (16-5, 5-3 Big 12).

Terry and the Longhorns have gone 2-2 in this gauntlet stretch of ranked opponents in the Big 12 so far. But Texas has dropped its last two competitions, including a tough 76-72 overtime defeat at home at the hands of the No. 4 Houston Cougars in its last game on Jan. 29.

TCU is trending in the opposite direction as the Longhorns right now. The Horned Frogs have won three straight, including two in a row against ranked opponents.

And the games that TCU has dropped in the Big 12 this season have come by very narrow margins. Of TCU's two regulation losses in conference play, they were by a combined three points against two ranked opponents. TCU's other loss in the Big 12 was in overtime on the road against a quality Cincinnati Bearcats squad.

Here’s a look at the TV/streaming information and game time as Texas travels to face No. 25 TCU at Schollmaier Arena in Fort Worth on Feb. 3.

Expect a high-scoring affair between the Longhorns and Horned Frogs in Fort Worth this weekend. TCU plays at the fastest pace and scores the most points per game (80.3) in the Big 12 in conference play.

While it's not on the same level as TCU, Texas has also played in some high scoring games in the Big 12 this season. Texas ranks in the top half of the Big 12 in points per game (72.4) in conference play and 10th in points allowed (74.6).

Two of the biggest factors that have led to TCU's offensive explosion in Big 12 play are transition scoring and three-point shooting. TCU ranks second in the Big 12 in three-point field goal percentage (39.2) in conference play and leads in fastbreak scoring (14.1 points per game in transition).

Another potential problematic part of the Longhorns' matchup against the Horned Frogs is the battle on the glass. TCU has a lot of length and athleticism in its frontcourt that allows them to command the tone on the glass. The Horned Frogs rank 33rd in the nation in rebounding percentage this season, while the Longhorns rank 146th.

We all know the Longhorns struggles on the glass in conference play this season. Texas has the fourth-worst rebounding differential in conference play. The struggles bringing down defensive rebounds has cost the Longhorns in losses to the UCF Knights, Houston, and BYU Cougars in the Big 12 this season.

Final score prediction: TCU-86, Texas-78
