4. Alabama

This fall begins the new era in Tuscaloosa for the Alabama Crimson Tide under new head coach Kalen DeBoer. Alabama returns its starting quarterback with Heisman aspirations in redshirt junior Jalen Milroe to lead an offense capable of being one of the best in the SEC.

DeBoer took only two years to lead the Washington Huskies to the Pac-12 Championship and the College Football Playoff National Championship Game last postseason.

3. Ole Miss

Head coach Lane Kiffin took the Ole Miss Rebels football program to new heights in 2023, winning 11 games and a New Year's Six bowl victory over the Penn State Nittany Lions by double digits. Ole Miss has the pieces on the roster to be a national contender and make it to the Playoff for the first time in program history this season in 2024.

2. Texas

Texas is peaking as a program at the right time under head coach Steve Sarkisian, entering their inaugural season in the SEC in 2024. The road to the SEC Championship might go through Austin this year, with the No. 1 Georgia Bulldogs traveling to DKR in October to face the Longhorns.

1. Georgia

Until proven otherwise, Georgia and head coach Kirby Smart are considered the class of the SEC. But this season won't come without its fair share of challenges, as Georgia faces the third toughest strength of schedule in the nation this fall.

After opening the season with a top-15 ranked foe against the No. 14 Clemson Tigers at home, Georgia has to travel to face No. 4 Texas, No. 5 Alabama, and No. 6 Ole Miss all on the road this fall.
