The undoubted top in-state priority for Sarkisian, Jackson, and the Longhorns in the 2025 class entering summer visits is the elite five-star Duncanville (TX) wide receiver Dakorien Moore. The former LSU commit is deciding between the Oregon Ducks, Ohio State Buckeyes, and Texas as his recruitment enters the final stretches this summer.

Moore is scheduled to officially visit the three aforementioned schools that he's boiled his recruitment down to late this spring. He's scheduled to officially visit Columbus first to see Ohio State and head coach Ryan Day next weekend (May 31).

Then, the highly anticipated Texas official visit is next up on the docket for Moore a couple of weeks after his trip to Ohio State in mid-June. Moore will be on campus in Austin for his official visit from June 14-16.

If Sarkisian and staff knock it out of the park with Moore during his official visit to Austin in mid-June, there's a good chance he ends up committing to the Longhorns in the next couple of months. Moore wants his recruitment to be over before the start of his senior season, so that puts his decision timeline to be wrapped up within the next three months.

The final official visit for Moore this summer is to Eugene to see head coach Dan Lanning and the Ducks on the weekend of June 21. Oregon is currently viewed as the biggest threat to Texas in this recruitment entering summer official visits.

Oregon has an advantage in this recruitment since it hired the son of Duncanville's head coach, Ra'Shaad Samples, to their coaching staff during the spring.

Texas is still viewed as the current favorite in this recruitment, though, as long as they do well during Moore's official visit next month. He is the crown jewel and the must-win recruitment of this loaded in-state 2025 wide receiver class for the Longhorns.
