Kevin Wynn, DL (Florida State commit)

Texas has been finding success with defensive line recruiting from the Florida State Seminoles 2025 class early this fall on the trail. Last weekend, the Longhorns flipped Port Charlotte (FL) four-star defensive lineman Charles from Florida State.

The Longhorns also recently started trending for recent high-four-star Florida State decommit and Cocoa (FL) edge rusher Javion Hilson. Texas has been the trendy pick for Hilson after he re-opened his recruitment roughly 24 hours after the Longhorns flipped Charles from Florida State.

The other top target the Longhorns are pursuing on the recruiting trail in the 2025 class from Florida State is Greensboro (GA) Greene County four-star defensive lineman Kevin Wynn.

The 6-foot-2 and 325-pound defensive tackle from Georgia, Wynn has been in communication with the Longhorns and Georgia Bulldogs in the past few months since he committed to Florida State during the summer.

There is a very real possibility that while Wynn remains committed to Florida State, that he will eventually be convinced to flip his pledge to Georgia or Texas by signing day in early December.

Texas and Georgia are both very likely to get Wynn to campus for respective gameday visits to each school in SEC play this fall.
