Shelton Henderson, F

Elite high-four-star Houston (TX) Bellaire wing Shelton Henderson is one of the top players from Texas in the 2025 class. The 6-foot-6 and 220-pound small forward from Houston has an extremely high athletic upside and has the potential to be a first-round NBA Draft pick if his two-way game rounds out at the next level.

Henderson is among the most athletic playmakers in the nation in the 2025 class. He has the athleticism and strength to drive to the rim and finish through contact and the natural shooting stroke to pull up from the mid-range and from beyond the arc.

Henderson is the type of offensive playmaker on the wing who could elevate Texas's scoring and versatility on that end of the floor. Terry and Co. like Henderson as a natural fit at the three or the four in his up-tempo, free-flowing offense.

Texas has already hosted Henderson once for an unofficial visit this year, back in early January. He's said in the last few weeks that he wants to take official visits to see the Louisville Cardinals, Houston Cougars, LSU Tigers, and Texas (per 247Sports). He's planning to take visits late in the summer and early in the fall before likely announcing before the Early Signing Period in November.
