Left tackle

Starter: Kelvin Banks Jr. (JR)

Backup: Trevor Goosby (RS-FR)

Preseason All-American and stud junior left tackle Kelvin Banks Jr. is arguably the Longhorns' best player on the roster for the 2024 season. Banks is expected to be a top 10 draft pick in the NFL for the first round next spring.

Left guard

Starter: Hayden Conner (SR)

Backup: Neto Umeozulu (RS-SO)

Left guard has been a pretty major position battle for Kyle Flood and the Longhorns since spring camp earlier this offseason. Senior Hayden Conner has fought off a big push from redshirt sophomore Neto Umeozulu to secure the first-team left guard spot for the starting offensive line this fall camp.

Texas is probably still going to rotate between Conner and Neto in live-game action this fall, depending on the situation and when they need more big body movers along the offensive line.

Center

Starter: Jake Majors (RS-SR)

Backup: Connor Robertson (RS-SO)

Redshirt senior Jake Majors could reasonably be the most important player Texas has in the trenches along the offensive line this fall. His communication and proven experience as a returning multi-year starter for Texas anchoring the offensive line at the center position makes him an invaluable leader for this group in the trenches.

Right guard

Starter: DJ Campbell (JR)

Backup: Cole Hutson (JR)

While he's had his ups and downs in the past couple of years at Texas, junior interior offensive lineman DJ Campbell is guaranteed to be a big-time body mover for the Longhorns at the line of scrimmage this fall. Campbell is trying to prove his stock for the 2025 NFL Draft, if he has the season we all think he can at right guard for the Longhorns this fall.

Right tackle

Starter: Cam Williams (JR)

Backup: Brandon Baker (FR)

Texas's only first-year starter along the offensive line this season is junior offensive tackle Cam Williams. The big 6-foot-5 and 335-pound starting right tackle Williams had an exceptional camp thus far for the Longhorns OL and is expected to be a steady blocker in pass pro and run-blocking for Texas this upcoming season.
