Ranking each Texas Longhorns offensive coordinator over the last decade
By Sam Fariss
While Jay Norvell was able to bring back a productive run game for Texas’ offense, he repeatedly fell short of genuine success with the Longhorn offense.
Norvell was also able to help Tyrone Swoopes evolve into a much more productive quarterback, earning the quarterback and his offense a No. 18 national ranking for their passing game.
Unfortunately, with a shutout loss to Iowa State and a 7-point offensive effort against TCU, Texas’ offense was ranked No. 117 in the country (out of 128 FBS teams).
