Ranking each Texas Longhorns offensive coordinator over the last decade
By Sam Fariss
After coaching at Kansas, Ohio State, and Nebraska, Tim Beck accepted the job as the Longhorns’ offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach.
Disappointingly, Beck led Texas to lackluster offensive performances and the Horns finished his first season with a mediocre 7-5 overall record.
Following his first season with the Horns, Beck was demoted to only holding the position of offensive coordinator, losing the quarterbacks coaching job.
Beck helped to develop future NFL quarterback Sam Ehlinger while he was at Texas and has since been named the head coach of Coastal Carolina.
