Ranking each Texas Longhorns offensive coordinator over the last decade
By Sam Fariss
When Steve Sarkisian was hired as the head coach of Texas, he named Kyle Flood as his go-to guy for all things offense.
Since becoming the offensive coordinator, Flood has led the Horns to a 25-14 overall record and has developed a monstrous offensive line for the team.
In 2023, when the Longhorns made their first-ever appearance in the College Football Playoffs, Flood coached Texas was ranked No. 9 nationally for total offense.
During last season, Texas lost just one game to the No. 12 ranked Oklahoma Sooners on its road to the playoffs. In the Horns’ last-ever Big 12 Championship, Texas more than doubled the score of the Oklahoma State Cowboys to take home the conference title.
