Pharrel Payne is slightly undersized for a big man at just 6-foot-9 but his efficiency on the court makes up for any lack of stature the former Golden Gopher has.
Payne, who transferred to Texas A&M from Minnesota this offseason, shot a jaw-dropping 60.2 percent from the field last year and averaged 10 points per game.
Payne also contributed 6.1 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game for the Gophers. His 255-pound frame should make a dominant force in the paint for the Aggies this season.
