After four seasons with the Rutgers Scarlet Knights and in the Big Ten, center Clifford Omoruyi announced he would transfer to the Alabama Crimson Tide (apparently a big fan of red).

At 6-foot-11 and 240 pounds, Omoruyi will be one of the bigger true centers in the SEC this season as well as one of the most highly productive big men.

Last year, Omoruyi shot 51.2 percent from the field for 10.4 points per game. He also contributed 8.3 rebounds and an astonishing 2.9 blocks per appearance.
